Circles

The oneATELIER Circles are smaller, ongoing discussion groups focused on a specific medium or topic.
These intimate, topic-specific circles meet regularly with a dedicated member-leader to explore painting and drawing, video, photography, 3D and sculptural practices, professional development, art theory, or current exhibitions.

Launching soon.

Drawing Circle

Drawing Practice Circle aims to bring together artists who use drawing in its broadest sense as an essential part of their practice. Using a combination of studio discussions, exhibition visits and theoretical texts to explore what drawing means today, in person or online meetings will be held approximately once a month.

Gallery Walk &Talk

Gallery Walk & Talk circle aims at discovering interesting exhibitions at galleries that matter in the various neighborhoods of the Parisian contemporary art scene (young galleries to international ones in the Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Matignon, Palais-Royal, Romainville…). Each visit will include a selection of 3-5 galleries, followed by a discussion in a nearby café.

Video & Multimedia

Video & Multimedia Circle aims to bring together video-makers, filmmakers, and artists engaged in multimedia practices. Monthly discussion sessions will be organized, during which members will be invited to present their recent or ongoing work. Public screenings will be held at least twice a year to provide broader public access to these practices and to encourage professional exchange and critical dialogue.

Discourse Circle

The Discourse Circle is a bi-monthly meeting which focuses on reading contextually relevant texts and facilitating peer-to-peer discussions for artists and arts professionals. Meetings are held in person, with the thematic consideration of each quarter decided collaboratively at the first meeting.

Photographic Practice

The Photographic Practice Circle focuses on bringing artists together through project development, portfolio building, collaborative group critiques, and round-table conversations on specific topics in contemporary photography. Meetings are held in-person once per month. All cameras, lens-based or light-based practices are welcome.
