The oneATELIER
Group Critique Formats
oneATELIER’s three programs - Deep Crits, Quick Crits, and Circles - offer different rhythms and modes of critique, from sustained studio visits to focused exchange and collective discussion. Click these links to find out more:
The oneATELIER Deep Studio Visits offer members a two-hour, in-depth discussion in the artist’s studio. This longer format invites a small group to take a sustained, close look at one member’s work within its studio context.
The oneATELIER Quick Crits offer members a focused, 30-minute cold read of a single artwork. This agile format allows all members to benefit from the insight, attention, and collective intelligence of peer critique.
The oneATELIER Circles are smaller, ongoing discussion groups focused on a specific medium or topics.
These intimate, topic-specific circles meet regularly with a dedicated member-leader to explore painting and drawing, video, photography, 3D and sculptural practices, professional development, art theory, or current exhibitions.
