About Chia:
Born in 1989 in Taipei, Taiwan. Lives and works in Paris, France. Chia Lee is a multidisciplinary artist who works mainly with videos and installations made up of various mediums. She seeks to reveal a fluidity between human and non-human in the era of globalization, while often addressing migration and modernization. Chia’s work is often developed with anthropological research methods, and by creating an archeology of signs and objects, she unfolds micro-narratives interwoven in a big history and proposes several layers of readings.
Chia Lee graduated in 2021 from MO.CO. Esba (Montpellier Superior Academy of Fine Arts). She has been invited to residency programs in France, China, Finland and Brazil, and has exhibited in many different countries.
